A view (Main View, Navigation Bar, and/or Source Code View) is missing in my Visual Expert 7 interface

If the source code view, main view, or navigation bar view is missing when you open Visual Expert 7, go to the menu option Window in the top panel of your interface and select from that drop down menu the view that is missing. The Window menu option allows you to close and open the three main views.

If after trying the above, your views are still not appearing:

  1. Close Visual Expert 7.
  2. If you are using Windows 7 go to: C:\ProgramData\Novalys\VisualExpert\Config\
  3. If you are using Windows XP go to: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Novalys\VisualExpert\UIContext
  4. Delete the file MainState.xml contained within the above folder
  5. Re-open Visual Expert 7 and the views will re-appear.
